About Kaija

Hello families! I have been in the K12 and higher education space for over 10 years. I've held roles from elementary school teacher to District Leadership. I absolutely love children and babies. I am married and we look forward to one day growing our own family in addition to our wonderful fur-baby Beagle mix, Romeo. Until then, I am looking for a change of pace with a more independent practice of tutoring and/or care taking. I am an animal lover, never smoked, and comfortable driving with your beloved babies in my RAV4. I enjoy being an Auntie to my wonderful niece and many nephews and spending time with my family. I believe in following the behavior management style of the family I work with plus I have some fun techniques from being an educator! My main priority will always be safety first and creating a caring and engaging environment.

Kaija is very attentive with my daughter. I know that when I leave her with Kaija she is in good hands and I dont have to worry about her. It is great that she is a teacher also!
