Hi! I'm a career nanny working in a nanny share with 4 toddlers. We are going to have two open spots at the end of August. We have an established location in Mount Vernon on a fully fenced 1/4 acre. There are dogs and guinea pigs on the property. I have over 20 years of experience working with kids in addition to raising 3 of my own. The oldest two are out thriving in the world and the youngest (he's 11) homeschools. I prepare breakfast, lunch and snacks. Everything is organic, made from scratch with minimal if any processed food. We have a large veggie and flower garden that the kids help harvest from. We spend our days outside as much as possible. We also do art, reading, age appropriate academic activities (say that 10 time fast!) and dance parties. I put a lot of emphasis on clear communication, kindness, and laughter. My approach with kids is steeped in the Montessori method of learning. I'd love to discuss your care needs.

Kaci is our current child care provider for our 2.5 year old daughter and we cannot rave about her enough. Kaci is a compassionate teacher and care provider. She goes above and beyond to make sure every individual child is supported based on their needs and personalities. She partners with each family to understand what is needed for the child in whatever developmental stage they are in, and communicates clearly with the family to discuss strategies to best support the children. For example, she partnered with us to potty train our daughter (even through constipation issues) and made it a safe and fun environment to learn in. She is always updating the toys, books, play room, and outdoor spaces to ensure that the kids have fun activities to do throughout the day. She prepares healthy meals each day, provides a lot of play-time outside, and helps each child develop their emotional and social skills with ease. We've never trusted anyone more than Kaci and highly recommend her.
