About Julie

Hello, I'm Julie! I am a native Southern Californian with a passion for helping families thrive. I adore children and fully recognize their unique perspectives and agency to (safely) explore their environments and world. In the past, I worked in the public school system in Oregon teaching middle school language arts and US history, as well as supporting students with specialized education needs to reach and exceed their independent education plan goals. My professional experiences at the highest levels of state government supporting volunteer tutoring and mentoring programs have equipped me well to be a champion for your child. I graduated cum laude from the University of Oregon in 2018 with a B. S. in Political Science and minors in philosophy and Legal Studies. In my free time, I serve as a fundraising volunteer for a nonprofit supporting our parks and a tutor teaching math and literacy to low-income students.
