About Judy

I have been a teacher at Lawrence School, a private school for students with learning differences, for 16 years. I believe that students learn best one on one, which is why I am choosing to tutor full-time instead of being in a classroom. I am passionate about increasing students' confidence as they learn math with hands-on manipulatives, drawing the concept and then solving abstract problems at their own pace. I am certified and successfully implement multisensory math, Keys to Literacy (comprehension and vocabulary), and PEERS (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills). If your child needs assistance with executive function skills, like organization, I am highly skilled in this area as well.
