About Josie

We found Josie on Care.com at a time when we were brand‑new parents and honestly a little nervous about trusting a stranger with our infant daughter. She’s our first, and we had all the normal reservations that come with that. It didn’t take long, though, for Josie to feel like family. She was our nanny for six months, but the impact she had on our daughter, and on us, will last a lifetime. We still talk about her all the time. In fact, we were recently getting a babysitter for the first time since Josie (someone not related to us), and the only thing that calmed our daughter was remembering Josie and talking about the things they used to do together. Josie just has a real, natural way with kids. She understood our daughter from day one and met her exactly where she was. Even in those early months, you could see how much she was learning and growing from their time together. We still keep in touch with Josie and share A's milestones with her, which I think says a lot about the kind of connection she builds with families.
