About Joshua

Hi! I'm Joshua. Originally from Amsterdam, I now live in SF, as a 12th grader in the rigorous IBDP. My academic interests and strengths span a range of subjects, including Physics, Math, Geography, History, and Economics. With a solid GPA of 4. 1 (weighted at 5. 1), I am a hard-working student. Fluent in English and Dutch, while decent in German and French. Tutoring has been something I've been very passionate about over the past 3 years, where I've worked to guide middle school students through challenging subjects. I take pride in my methods, where I have a unique ability to engage students in subjects that initially, might not particularly excite them. Personally, paying attention in classes is always something I have struggled with, which is something many go through. It took time for me to find approaches that worked for me, and helped me excel academically. Everyone has their preferences when it comes to learning, and I believe I am capable of providing this range of methods.
