About Joseph

I am an avid naturalist who has been working with children for over a decade. I routinely work with children on their naturalist and bushcrafting skills. I am particularly passionate about teaching about plant identification, mushroom identification, and foraging. I can also teach your child about fire tending, free-form basket making, and shelter building. My passion is forming personal connections as a mentor. I am a huge believer in the power of play! I love awareness games and exercises in particular. I enjoy using the socratic method when speaking and listening to children (and adults). My experience as a long distance hiker has made me comfortable working outside in all sorts of weather; I am available rain or shine. I take safety seriously, and follow COVID-19 protocols without issue.
