About Eliza

Hello, my name is Eliza. I live in Durham and am a proud mother! I have over 10 years of experience working with young people. Some of my previous work experiences include working as an outdoor educator for the Durham Public Schools' Hub Farm and as a teacher at Eno Valley Elementary School (K-5). I have also worked as a mentor/naturalist at the Green River Preserve, as a swim instructor at the Duke Faculty Club, and as a garden teacher at the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle. I now work part-time for a local beekeeping company while also taking care of my family. I have evening and weekend availability on most Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays (generally between 5:00pm-midnight). I am not generally available other times during the week. I am happy to care for up to three children, help prepare dinner, do bedtime, and generally clean-up around the house. I am comfortable working around pets and would love to get to know you and your family.
