About Johara

I have been a private homeschool teacher as well as caregiver for a lovey family that I met through my previous work as a Preschool Teacher as well as another family that I connected with through my first family. I work with 3 children total, a set of twins (age 5) and another kiddo (age 4), I currently see one family on Tuesday and Saturday mornings and the other family on Monday evenings and every other Sunday for now. All of which will change when two of my kiddos go to Kindergarten in August! Additionally, while in college, I participated in service learning at two schools in PVUSD. I got to experience a 2nd grade classroom and assist with small reading groups, grading papers, and taught up to 2 lessons. The second experience was in an Early Childhood Learning Center for special education with kiddos ages 3 to 5. I participated in the classrooms routine schedule as well as leading story time and subject specific lessons. I now have an Associates degree in Elementary Education.
