I have been a certified elementary school teacher/special education teacher for 24 years. I have taught elementary education for 16 years (Pre-K through 5th, special education). In addition, I have also taught middle school and high school. I am certified in Arizona and Texas in Special Education EC - 12, Pre-K: Birth-3rd Grade, Elementary Grades 1-7, and I have my Principal certification as well. I also have two college degrees. I have taught everything from college to preschool (and every level in between). I have a fantastic rapport with students of all ages. In 2008, I was a "teacher of the year." I especially love teaching reading and writing! I am very good at what I do. Helping students does not happen over night. However, with the right teacher, it does happen! I can help both academically and socially. I used to teach a self-contained behavior classroom as well. :)

Mr. M. was referred by a neighbor about a year ago to tutor my two sons. What an incredible tutor and person he was. He had a wonderful rapport with my two sons. He had an immense amount of knowledge, was a great communicator, and really cared. My son's grades shot up tremendously. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an outstanding tutor.
