About Johanna

Hi there! My name is Hanna. I am a graduate student pursuing my social work (focusing on child welfare) at Humboldt State. I have over 15 years of childcare experience, including babysitting, working as an assistant at a daycare, being an in-home nanny, and working as a supervisor in a group home for kiddos with special needs. I love working with children and families, and I think there is nothing quite as special as the opportunity to play such a significant role in a child's life. My outlook on child care is similar to the Montessori and Waldorf philosophies (as I attended a Waldorf school myself). I'm comfortable working with kids of all ages and have experience working with kiddos who are neurodivergent/on the spectrum as well.
