I'd describe my personality as friendly, creative, and energetic I like working with kids because they bring so much excitement and wonder into the world. It's amazing to be a part of a child's life because they are the future, and how we mold them and teach them will forever have a lasting impact on our world. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work closely with a family on a consistent basis. I want to form a very close relationship not only with the child or children I get the pleasure of caring for but also the family I will be working with. I was a general education teacher in the DOE but I decided to slow things down this year and take a break from all the standardized testing and logistics of teaching and just get back to the real reason I got into the profession, which is my love for kids. I want to create experiences for my kids, teach them things, and help cultivate a love of learning and curiosity about the world they live in.
