About Jodi

I worked in education for 7 years before switching career paths to become an SLP. I'm currently in grad school and looking for part time work. I'm most comfortable with elementary aged kids, but have worked with preschool aged children as well. I have a Master's in Teaching degree and my most recent teaching job was a 3rd grade teacher at a private school. I absolutely love children and would love to help out a family who needs a caring and reliable nanny. I'd describe my personality as warm, silly, and caring. I like working with kids because they are hilarious, imaginative, creative, insightful, and fun. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and can accommodate my school schedule this fall. I started working with kids when I graduated college in 2019. In my spare time, I like to garden, bake, travel, spend time outside, and spend time with my loved ones and pets. My skills include teaching/enrichment, having fun, and nurturing.
