About Alaina

Hi! I'm Alaina! I have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and a genuine passion for working with children and families. My education has given me a strong understanding of child development, age-appropriate expectations, and trauma-informed care. I've worked in daycares, with children in foster care, and with teenagers, so I'm comfortable caring for children with a variety of ages, personalities, and needs. I also teach Sunday school and volunteer with an after-school program, so working with kids is something I truly love! I'm patient, responsible, energetic, and always happy to get involved with whatever your child enjoys, whether that's crafts, playing outside, reading, or homework. I'm also happy to help with light housekeeping while I'm there. I'm flexible with communication and am happy to follow whatever works best for your family, whether that's hourly updates or an end-of-day written report. I'd love to get to know your family and provide safe, fun, and compassionate care!
