About Joan

With over 25 years of experience teaching elementary school, I have a deep understanding of how children learn best. I know how important it is to connect with each child in a way that makes learning enjoyable and engaging. Every child is unique, and with the right support, they can thrive academically. I specialize in pre-school through 3rd graders. I can work with your child in my home or yours. My goal is to help children build confidence and a love for learning that will last a lifetime. Even though I have retired from classroom teaching, my passion for helping children and families achieve their educational goals remains strong. I bring decades of experience in elementary education and educational coaching to every tutoring session. One thing you should know about me is that I have dedicated my career to working with children. I understand the challenges they face and take pride in being part of their learning journey.
