About Joanne

Hello! I love kids and animals, especially dogs! I am currently a mom to 3 Doberman pinschers aka my three big babies. I received my education at California State University, Northridge and graduated with a bachelors degree in Public Health. Now, I am currently enrolled in a Pre Vet Program in order to take the pre-requisites required to apply for Veterinary School. I have years of experience working at a small animal clinic where I got to work with a variety of dog and cat breeds. I have also worked as a teacher at an afterschool program and helped kids with their homework daily. I've babysat for a family friend for years and other children as well. Previously worked as a Behavior Therapist (certified registered behavior technician) for kids with autism/related disorders for over a year in both school and home settings. Received training and certification from the Crisis Prevention Institute to be able to de-escalate crisis in the workplace involving children .
