About Joanna

I'd describe my personality as organized, responsible, and adaptable. I like working with animals because I grew up with them. Dogs especially have been a big part of my life from a young age. I'm looking for a job that makes sense for us both, something that feels win-win. I started working with animals when I graduated from college and decided to try volunteering at a shelter. Growing up, I cared for my two dogs, also. In my spare time, I like to do improv theater, hike, and research interior design. My skills include working with dogs in any age range and breed, providing medication, and close supervision at dog parks, if your dog is already socialized. I've also worked with shy dogs who are nervous around new people.

Johanna was wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure our dog was comfortable. She had never been walked by anyone, so I was worried about how it would go. She was patient with her and gave her time and space to get to know her which I really appreciated. She was punctual and communication was great. We will definitely book her again when we are out of town!
