About Jillian

I have a B. S. in Mechanical Engineering, a B. A. in Dance, and an Honors College Certificate from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (3. 97/4 GPA). At Northrop Grumman, I have served as a Systems Engineer Intern since June 2022. I've also taught at a local dance studio and am currently training, auditioning, and performing as a professional dancer in NYC. I tutor in a wide variety of subjects including math (algebra, geometry, calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, statistics, etc.), science (physics, chemistry, biology, etc.), mechanical engineering disciplines, dance (ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, pointe, contemporary, lyrical, improvisation, choreography, etc.), and English (reading comprehension, writing, grammar, etc.). I've had dedicated, bright, passionate instructors that have helped me not only to gain a deeper understanding of concepts, but also to enjoy learning and celebrate my successes. I aim to foster this kind of environment as a tutor.
