About Abigail

I am currently a PhD candidate in mechanical engineering at Columbia University. I graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a premed concentration and dance minor, I have completed math courses from basic algebra to differential equations and other applied engineering math courses. I have taught Math as a long term substitute and my most recent tutoring experience is tutoring a student with autism in grades 9-12 mathematics. Along with math, I have taken high school chemistry and college level chemistry 1 and 2 along with biology, anatomy and physiology. I have tutored students from 1st grade and up and love teaching students and creating an environment where they feel they can succeed and understand their course even if it is not their strong suit. I am also a dancer and love to teach kids. I have assisted in hip hop and jazz and kindergarten class for kids ages 4-18.
