About Jessica

I'd describe my personality as cheerful, kind and understanding. I like tutoring because I enjoy helping students achieve their goals. Once a student has a firm grasp on the concept I enjoy hearing their methods of solving problems and working through questions. I'm looking for a job that allows me to not only improve my own skills by practicing explaining lessons but to also allow a student to shine and feel accomplished I started tutoring when I was in high school working at an after school program. In my spare time, I like to go to the park with my kids (ages 4 and 6), listen to podcasts and watch movies. My skills include 4th-8th grade math, study skills and time management
