About Jeremy

I have previously tutored for several years with Chegg tutors and have my Bachelor's degree in History from FAU. My areas of specialty are history/social studies/social sciences as well as Language Arts and essay writing/comprehension. I find that helping students develop a genuine interest in the material can really make a difference in comprehension! I also help students learn ways to forumlate coherent arguments and essays. I can help students break down their ideas for more concise writing and assist with grammar as well. With the humanities, I find that noticing patterns in topics such as social studies and understanding big ideas can often help make sense of smaller details. (Its often more than just memorizing dates!) I'm currently working on earning my teaching certification in social studies and I'm eligible for certification in the state of Florida.
