About Jennifer

I enjoy working one on one with individuals, helping them to gain a new understanding of information. Helping a student realize the "Ah-ha" moment when everything starts to make sense is priceless. I am certified in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I hold a Master's in Teaching and a Bachelor's in Psychology. I have 10 years of experience in education, where I have taught students with learning disabilities, ADHD, OCD, anxiety issues, and mild autism. I have experience in teaching skills such as Reading, Phonics, Writing, and Math (from basic addition up to Algebra and Geometry). I also taught GED class for two years, where I individualized the program for each student. All of my students reported to me that they were able to understand information in a better way than they had previously in any other class that they had attended. All of my students who took the GED test passed on their first attempt. I believe that all students can learn, but that we all learn in different ways, so it is up to the teacher to find the right way for each student. Not all students learn in the same way, so I don't teach all students in the same way.
