About Jeanette

Hello there! I am a certified teacher that's works for the NYCDOE during the scho year in a self-contained middle school setting. I typically teach ELA and Science but have a background in Elementary Education. I have worked in both regular and special education classes. I have done vocational work and tutoring. I have a certification to teach all special education grades and a reading certification (Resource Room / Literacy Specialist). I love doing hands-on projects, playing games, and going out to do vocational learning in real life settings. My availability varies depending on what you need! I typically work over the summer but have decided to dedicate my time to work with families who might not want to have their children in summer school, might need some help, want extra practice, or just need a night to go out and do something. If you need something outside of my availability hours, we can always work something out!
