About Mariana

Hello, I'm Mariana, I'm 27 years old, I'm an English teacher graduate in Modern Languages (English/Portuguese) and Childhood Education. Being a teacher has been a good part of my life and what I love to do. I first started working with education at a Canadian School in Brazil, starting as a TA up to becoming the main teacher for ELA, Science and Math. I have worked as an English teacher at Language schools, teaching both adults and kids from beginner to advanced levels. My last teaching experience was teaching English from Kindergarten to 5th grade. In all these years I had the opportunity to work with different ages, special needs, learning paces and styles, which lead to the pursue of a masters degree focused on how to teach students using their unique ways to learn. I have a CFE certificate and currently I'm on the process of acquiring my TEFL certification. I'll be more than happy to assist your kid on school projects, homework, etc. I speak English, Portuguese and Spanish.
