About Jay

Valid drivers license, never in an accident. I follow instructions. Can cook proficiently. Tutored in English and literature. NAVY household, both parents, I've moved around, met different people, and can get onto navy bases. I love working with kids, their minds are full of light and contagious joy. I started in middle school, babysitting. (Getting paid for making friends). I work with the YMCA (2yrs). In my spare time, I like to paint, draw. Reading novels and comic books, exploring linguistics. I love my cat and video games. Am silly and fun but kind words and safe behavior are no joke. Bullying, or age inappropriate conduct will always be absolutely unacceptable. I was a child for most of my life and remain cognizant of the impact certain actions have. I build mutual respect between the child and I. Patience for mistakes and ability to take time to educate rather than discipline. Challenging behaviors rarely missed, because children are not afraid to mess up around me.
