About Jan

Since my teenage years as a babysitter, children have simply been my life's passion. Besides proudly raising two boys, kids have just been my "thing": as a homeschool mom and online K-12 learning coach (12 years); a director and teacher in children's ministry (15+ years); a daycare preschool teacher (2 years); a nanny (4 years, including 2 years as facilitator for a child with disabilities); and a kids' activities coordinator for quarterly events in an underserved community (8 years). This body of work shows that I'm well-seasoned, highly-skilled and mature, yet as fun-loving and kid-friendly as they come! I am also able and experienced in household activities, from cleaning and chores to transportation and errands to organizing and personal assisting, and I'm quite adaptable to and flexible with your family's real-life needs. My bottom-line promise is that I'll invest in and care for your kids as my own, because children aren't just a job for me... they're my very heart!
