About Sarah

Hi there! I'm looking for the right family to help starting in August of 2026. I have years of childcare experience that started when I was 12 years old as a babysitter. I have a bachelors in health education from Miami University. I have been a substitute teacher, a nanny, worked in a church nursery, and I've taken care of a few children in my home these past few years. Through these experiences, I have taken care of a few autistic children. I have a hearing loss and wear hearing aids. I've been learning and practicing ASL for the fun of it. I plan on taking ASL classes in the fall at Saint Rita's. Also, I have had experience tutoring, and I have taught my daughter to read. She homeschooled with me for a few years and now she is attending school. I love bonding with and taking care of kids. I love teachable moments. I'm open to driving kids to the library, parks, zoo, etc. I love playing outside, arts and crafts, baking and singing songs.
