I have had experiences with all ages of children. My most recent position was a camp coordinator for a camp at a fitness center in Rochester, New York. During this time, I worked with children ages 3-10 and taught tennis, pool time, dancing, singing, and camp games. I held this position for two years; previously I worked in the child care department of the same center for three years. Working in the center, I watched children ages 8 weeks to 12 years. I would enthusiastically help the children with homework, dinner, crafts, sports, and help the children feel calm and safe. I have traveled to many different countries and worked with NGOS focused on supporting children. In 2014, I spent six months in Ghana volunteering as an English and science teacher for a fourth grade class and then moved on to be an art therapist for children rescued from trafficking. It was an incredible experience and I learned a lot of patience and new ways to engage children.

Jane is one of the most well-rounded people I have ever met. For someone so young, she has gained so much knowledge from her ability to travel and learn from other cultures and you see that come into play every day you spend with her. She has a calm and adventurous mind that makes her perfect as a child caregiver and she would make any parent feel comfortable leaving their child at home. Jane is the kind of caregiver that would take the children for a walk in the park instead of putting on the TV and would make food that would nourish them instead of going through a drive through. She is sweet, respectful, focused, and I cannot recommend Jane enough.
