About Jacquelyn

I'd describe my personality as friendly, outgoing, helpful, and caring. I like tutoring because I love helping children and providing them with my teaching expertise. My goal is to help students understand content in the best way that supports them individually. I'm looking for a job that is in the evening. I started tutoring when Covid hit. It was a way to help families during a hard time. In my spare time, I like to play with my children and dogs, read books, and hangout with friends! One thing you should know about me is that I'm a very supportive and caring person. Being a mother myself, I put children's needs first! My skills include phonics/phonemic awareness, math (including fractions, multiplication, divison, word problems), and reading comprehension and inferencing.
