About Isabel

Hello! I am an educator who has been teaching elementary grades in the public school setting for the past eight years. I come with a deep understanding of grade level standards and the most effective strategies for teaching them. I hold a Masters degree in teaching and a Bachelors degree in child psychology. I have taught and tutored students one-on-one and in small group settings. I have a strength for helping a child see their potential and develop a love for learning. My teaching style is warm and encouraging while holding high expectations. Last year the students in my classroom made over twice the amount of academic growth compared to the district average, and I was a finalist for teacher of the year. I am looking to transition out of the public school setting and am open to part or full time work.
