About Ilyse

Hello! I'm Ilyse, an artist and art teacher new to the Denver area! As a former honor student and year-round athlete, I would love to help your child in their academic and extracurricular careers and put them on the path to becoming a lifelong learner! My strengths are English, History, Spanish, and Fine Arts, but elementary Math and Science are no problem at all. My ACT score was 33 out of 35 with a perfect score on the English segment, so test prep is something I'm happy to take on - and have been hired for in the past. I've continued my Spanish education on my own and am well on the way to fluency! As for sports, I was a year-round athlete in school, from volleyball, to cheerleading, to soccer, and nearly any other sport my private school offered. I even played volleyball at the Junior Olympic level my senior year. I'm happy and more than capable to help with any extracurriculars your child enjoys! I know how important these non-academic activities can be to a child's future.
