Hello! I am a passionate Spanish tutor that is motivated by helping students see and reach their linguistic potential. My style of tutoring is to evaluate the specific way your child learns, and then customize my approach of teaching the subject matter in a way your child will understand. And, I explain things in English before I dive into the Spanish, so that way I know your child understands the concept at hand! (My critique of modern Spanish class is the zealous emphasis on immersion when teaching levels 1-2 to any students older than elementary age that only experience Spanish 1 hour a day vs a full immersion school - I have found the system to be counterproductive in helping students understand the language)
