And, I explain things in English before I dive into the Spanish, so that way I know your child understands the concept at hand! (My critique of modern Spanish class is the zealous emphasis on immersion when teaching levels 1-2 to any students older than elementary age that only experience Spanish 1 hour a day vs a full immersion school - I have found the system to be counterproductive in helping students understand the language)
