About Ilene

Hi! I'm currently a first-year geology major at Colorado College, and I have 2 years of tutoring experience in high school with elementary/middle school students. The subjects I'm most confident teaching are math - all the way through calculus, which I took 2 years of in high school (the highest math level obtainable at that school) and English. I've been recommended to be a writing tutor at my college and can provide writing samples/ references of my ability in any subject if requested. Throughout high school and into college I worked extensively at both day camps and sleep away camps, cementing my ability and passion for working with children. I'm excited to work with your child and help in any way possible, including in specific subjects requested other than math and English, and am also free to interview if desired.
