I was born and raised in Baltimore, I am also a wife and mother of 5 boys an 1 baby girl. I can remember I started babysitting around age 14, I always had every child with me where ever I could possible go. At that age I still wanted to become an RN, so after graduation I decided to go to medic for medical assistance, I worked in a family practice for 5y. By that time I was on to my 4th child and a sick 3rd child, so my husband's an I decided that I should stay home and care for the children, but my husband got his hours cut, so I decided to go back to work. so I decided to start a daycare in my home for 4y but stopped it during the recession. Then I became a nanny 4 the last 13y. I found out that I have a real knack for teaching and dealing with other people children. I Started To Really Learn Children SO I Could help Other Parents Deal With Many Issues. Parents call me and ask me for advice about their children an I am hardly ever wrong. I have watched over 150 children with in 18y.

Iesha cared for our daughter, E. (2 y.o.), from July 2015 to November 2016. We have had a very positive experience with Iesha and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, caring, and active person to care for their child/children. Iesha possesses all of the basic characteristics that we were looking for. She is punctual and dependable. I don't remember any days that she called out. If we had scheduling changes (e.g. had to work a bit late), she was very flexible. She was trustworthy; we never worried about E. being with her. She is knowledgeable about child development and experienced (with six children of her own!). She has the right balance of love and structure and helped us a lot with setting appropriate limits. Most of all, it is clear that E. adores her. We also appreciated how active Iesha is with E. She faithfully takes E. out to a different story time or other event in the neighborhood. Other days, she takes E. to Port Discovery, the Science Center or the Aquarium in the Inner Harbor. She interacts and plays with E. when they are home (my wife is sometimes home during the day). Iesha takes her job seriously. Caring for children is her profession and she treats it as so. As mentioned above, Iesha is knowledgeable about child development and has always been very willing to talk with us about different things she sees with E. during the day. She has also provided us (new parents) with tons of invaluable advice about everything from food to learning opportunities to structure and setting limits. The only reason we are reluctantly moving on from Iesha is that E. will be starting preschool in December. We will dearly miss her. We highly recommend Iesha to anyone and would be more than happy to talk to anyone who would like to know more about Iesha's time with E. Darren and Alanna
