About Jamie

Hello! My name is Jamie and I live in Lutherville-Timonium with husband, who does IT Security work. We love getting outside every chance we can get; we love tubing down the Gunpowder, hiking on trails nearby, throwing the Frisbee around, hanging at the pool, spending time with friends and family, and taking trips to the beach. I am also a dog lover and of course I adore children! Recently I switched careers from business development to become a real estate agent because it is something I've always wanted to do. It's more conducive to my lifestyle and will be flexible for when I have children of my own. Prior to my business career, I was a FT nanny for a family while I was in college. When I started with the family the children were ages 3 and 5. I dropped off/picked up from school, packed lunches, took them to after school activities, helped with homework, and cooked dinner. During the summer I coordinated with other parents for play dates, took them to camp, and did other fun activities. I also did over night stays while the parents were out of town or out of the country and managed the children's schedule during the time the parents were away. I've handled sick children and a child with a history of seizures. I have found that I am a quick problem solver, and keep calm through hectic situations (such as the time the little boy had his first seizure while I was driving in the car). Ideally I would like to work two days a week; however, if I am slow with work the other three days I could be available on an on-call basis. I could also work more days a week if the job entails working only part of the day. Like I mentioned before, my schedule is very flexible so we can discuss a schedule that work work for both of us.
