About Idalia

Hello, I'm Idalia! I've been nannying professionally for 7 years now, and doing childcare work since I was 15. For the past few years I've had the pleasure of taking care of some amazing kids. From infant care to toddler care, I've had my handful of experiences. My main care style is gentle-parenting focused on setting boundaries and working toward self-growth. Building up a child's self-esteem through emotional, self regulation is something I find important. We'll work toward problem solving, practical life skills, and self-regulating exercises. I don't have subscribe to an exact teaching method, but I will say I lean more toward a Montessori approach with takes from the Reggio Emilia approach. I look forward to working with a family that is communicative about their child's needs and sets clear boundaries about child care expectations.
