Hey there! I'm Ian, an aspiring musician and music educator with a background in computer science and information technology. I'm thrilled to be offering my services as a tutor and mentor. I've had the privilege of tutoring for two families and spending over six summers as a camp counselor for elementary to high school age students. My journey includes an education in Computer Science from the University of Portland, coupled with a four-year career in IT and system administration. I've also pursued my passion for music, receiving formal training in music and performance from Portland State University. Beyond academia, I enjoy reading, writing, cooking, movies, disc golf, and chess. I believe in fostering well-rounded individuals and am eager to inspire and empower my students to explore their passions both in and out of the classroom.
