About Michelle

Hello! My name is Michelle and I'm a University of Michigan alumni currently applying to medical school. I have 7 years of tutoring experience, working with various ages and subjects. I also have extensive experience working with kids with ADHD/ADD. As a mentor, I'll use diverse learning strategies like visual aids, spaced repetition, and self-testing to discover the most effective method for each student. I'll work with kids on homework, identifying and addressing any weak points. Before exams or quizzes, I'll craft practice tests for students to take in simulated testing condition Currently, I'm taking students for the summer! Summer is a great time to supplement kids' learning between grades or to prepare older students for SAT/ACT and college readiness. My rate starts at $60/hour for general tutoring and $80/hour for test preparation. I am available for both in-person (South Lyon, Novi, Northville area) and virtual tutoring.
