I'm a 63 years old New Yorker, originally from Brazil, in good health, good disposition, collecting Social Security and always in need to supplement my modest income. Fell into a situation with an old friend who was showing the first signs of memory loss, eventually diagnosed with Alzheimer's, I ended being responsible for her personal care, cleaning, shopping, cooking, Dr. app. and all other aspects of her life. While her children were unable to provide paid assistance, 1 year and 8 months. Since December 2021 I have been caring for an old friend, blind, diabetic, who more recently had a leg amputated. Both experiences mentioned were without any monetary compensation, embraced voluntarily, strictly as a friend. I speak fluent English, Portuguese and can communicate adequately in Spanish, I'm a trained Chef as well.
