About Helen

Hello! A little about me: I was a classroom teacher for 18 years and a preschool director for 8 years. I am fueled by a genuine love for learning alongside children, believing that education is most effective(and fun!) when it becomes an exciting and immersive experience. I wholeheartedly embrace the principles of experiential education, recognizing the profound impact it can have on a child's growth and development. I have experience working with children with different needs as well as children who are medically fragile. One of my greatest joys is taking little ones on thrilling outdoor adventures, whether it's hiking through forests, discovering new creatures, or collecting special rocks. I believe that fostering curiosity is one of the most important things we can do! I also LOVE process art and crafting!
