About Sarah

My name is Sarah, I'm 25yrs old and working as a part time nanny while I continue my education. I have my bachelors in Early Childhood Education and have previously been working in infant and toddler classrooms for 2 years. Not only do I love working with children but I am also knowledgable and passionate about their development. My teaching approach is very play based and explorations are driven by child's interest. I am not afraid to get messy and I believe children learn best (and have the most fun) through meaningful learning experiences. I'm particularly passionate about social emotional development. I place a great emphasis on creating a safe and loving environment where children can explore their feelings. In college I worked as a para educator in special education classrooms and am comfortable working with children who need extra support.
