About Helena

I have 12 years of experience homeschooling three children, using Montessori and Charlotte Mason methods, as well as over 7 years of teaching experience in a classical Christian school for gifted and talented children. Additionally, I have 2 years of experience as a college writing tutor. I have taught most grades between pre-kindergarten and twelfth grade in both private and public schools. Most recently, I was a public elementary school interventionist for struggling math and reading students. I am organized, calm, efficient, and knowledgeable. I believe all children wish to be capable, successful, and understood.
