About Heidi

With 19 years in education and more than 25 years of babysitting and nanny experience, I bring knowledge, warmth, structure, and genuine joy to caring for children. I have worked with children from newborns through teenagers and taught grades 1-8, giving me a strong understanding of child development, learning, and behavior. Excellent references are available. Children often describe me as "firm, fair, and fun," while parents have called me "Super Nanny" and "The Baby Whisperer." I believe children thrive when they feel loved and respected while being held to high expectations. I encourage kindness, manners, responsibility, outdoor play, imagination, problem-solving, and cooperation.
