About Deena

Hi! I'm Deena. I recently worked in tech recruiting, and while I'm figuring out my next long-term career move, I'm looking to get back to something I've always genuinely loved: working with kids. Before my career in tech, I spent three years at The Little Gym, where I taught gymnastics and movement classes for children ages 3-12. I led classes focused on motor skills, confidence building, and physical development. During college, I also nannied for several families, caring for children of different ages and helping with everything from school pickups and homework to meals, bedtime routines, and keeping them entertained. In addition, I come from a big family with lots of babies and young kids, so caring for children has always been a natural part of my life. I'm patient, energetic, dependable, and naturally connect well with children. I love creating a fun, positive environment while also providing structure and making parents feel confident their children are in good hands.
