About Hedda

I am a Montessori inspired tutor and caregiver, encouraging development through practical life skills. As a tutor I believe in sparking confidence and expanding capabilities using cooperative projects, crafts, independent learning games, literacy work, and interpersonal skill-building. I approach childcare with a similar mindset- encouraging cooperation and teamwork through creative projects, practical life skills, and personal empowerment. Over the past year I have been running my own outdoor, nature focused learning pod for a group of 5-6-year-olds in South Austin, while also employed as an in-home home school tutor for a 6-year-old. I have experience working with children 0-16, including children on the autism spectrum.
