About Heather

Loving, fun, creative environment- Focus on sensory exploration, communication, art, social emotional development and play. I currently am a sahm and part time birth doula. I love guiding children along their journey to being confident and joyful in the world. I am hoping to find a family with one child that needs afternoon care and wants to come to me! I have 3 kids 5 and under that will be part of our crew and live in central Corvallis. My home is set up to be a creative, self sufficient and safe environment where they can play with and use everything around them and we spent a lot of time outside! In my parenting I use an intertwining of the Montessori and Waldorf approaches and focus on attachment parenting. I love both interactive and independent play and we read a lot! -15 years experience -CPR and 1st aid certified consistently since I was 12 -BA in early childhood education -preschool teacher -Elementary education experience-Montessori teacher- mother of 3
