About Nikkia

Hi! I'm Nikkia, a nanny with over 7 years of experience. I'm in my 5th year with one family and have also spent 3 years and 2 years with two others. Many of my families use Waldorf or Montessori approaches, so I'm used to days built around routine, outdoor time, imaginative play, art, and hands-on activities, with limited screens. I've worked with neurotypical kids and kids with low-level autism and ADHD, including alongside behavioral specialists, and I keep routines consistent and stay in touch with parents about what's working. I have my own car and can handle school and activity drop-offs and pickups, homework help, grocery shopping and errands, light housekeeping, and occasional overnights. I'm CPR/First Aid certified and have completed sexual harassment awareness training. I'm studying molecular biology and biochemistry, and I like bringing science into everyday play.
