About Heather

I have been an elementary school teacher for over 12 years and also have many years experience tutoring various ages and subjects. I make learning fun with engaging games and activities that can be completed independently to keep the learning going in between sessions. I also incorporate movement and mindfulness into tutoring sessions to keep students focused, and to foster emotional and physical growth. I am a certified yoga instructor with specific kids yoga training. I can specifically focus on yoga instruction for students and their families if preferred. Families that practice yoga together get to connect their own bodies, minds and breath, and also connect with each other.
