About Hannah

Hi parents! I am 22 years old, have been babysitting for around 10 years, have a B. A. in Hearing and Speech Sciences from UMD, and currently getting my M. A. in Speech-Language Pathology. I have always had a strong passion for working with children. Being a graduate student is a full-time gig, but my schedule does have some openings and I am looking to find babysitting opportunities that fit into my schedule. I am empathetic, creative, fun, and resourceful. I'd be happy to run errands, play games, do crafts, etc! While I am not an SLP yet, I have experience working with those with special needs. I've worked at the Lab School of Washington for two summers helping those with developmental differences. I currently have two clients who come to the UMD speech clinic (one with Dyslexia and one with ASD). I would be happy to incorporate some activities that target language development, social communication, and other related areas into my time with your child/children!
