Hello Prospective families- I am Sheila, a child development specialist who has been working with children and their families in numerous fashions for over 30 years. I have been working strictly as a private contracted Nanny for the last 10years. Also a mother of three amazing adult children. I am currently looking for a full time, long term Nanny position in the immediate DC/metro area. My current contract is ending mid-October. I have excellent references to top off my educational background in child development and my vast years of experience. Sheila helped me with my infant daughter for about 3 weeks before a spot opened up at our local daycare. I had never had a nanny experience before, but Sheila made everything very seamless. Sheila is incredibly professional. She wants to iron out the details and expectations on both sides. This set us up for smooth communications. She was incredibly loving with my daughter, but also worked with her in the three weeks that she was here to roll over, sit up independently, (take a bottle from someone other than me) among other things. I would absolutely hire Sheila again. It has been wonderful getting to know her.
